  • Speaking of pushing things up louder...it's a whole other subject, I suppose, but the "loudness wars" are another thing that's wrecking music, IMO. Stop the clipping!

  • @Steech "I can't imagine what it's like at 40 or 50..." Don't make such narrow statements. I am in that age range and I and many friends also in that age group are still discovering and consuming music--yes, newer bands--regardless of those "other things" in our lives. @Ian

  • Samaria--Good post, but everyone ought to take responsibility for BC. It's about time more men did their share.  After all it "takes 2 to tango" and the burden has been lopsided on women for too long.

  • Courts, I agree with you on the privacy issue, but just for the record I really do think it is fear on the men's part that determines who has the procedure in a lot of situations.

  • GG, you know this of course, being an RN, but I just want to point out something you overlooked which is that while a D&C may be a method used in abortion, not all D&C's are abortion procedures.  They are also a diagnostic tool for uterine disease.
